孩子心事
Saturday, misty and rainy. I was on my way to a friend's place. Waiting to get off MTR at North point, I noticed this very cute little girl. She is about 1-2 yrs and she was sitting on the lap of her mom. Everything went well until all of a sudden her mom yelled and put her little girl away from her ... guess what, that little cute girl just peed on her mom ... while everyone tried to clean up the place (you know inside MTR, unlike in some buses with carpet seats, liquid doesn't disappear easily) the little girl in a little skirt was surrounded by adults ... she was kind of upset and scared ... and all of a sudden she cried out "爸爸抱抱" ...
Her dad did hesitate ... and the little girl did insist. I wish I could take a picture of it. With her begging her dad finally pick her up and 抱在懷中. I can easily understand his hesitations, especially if they are going to dine somewhere or if there are lots of events afterwards. Carrying the smell around might not be a good idea. I can understand the little girl too - what could be better than "hide in His wings among storms and waves".
I am glad that our Heavenly Father will pick us up no matter how dirty we are. In fact He revealed His love when we are the dirtiest to Him - remember He definitely doesn't like sins, more than the way we dislike smelly body discharge ... but He took that away and accept us the way we are.
Kids are God's special agents to teach us about Heavenly love. And we never know when they are going to start the lesson ... and when does it end.
